Welcome to Clever Clogs Childcare Centre
Clever Clogs Childcare Centre is a family run business which opened in 2012. We pride ourselves in being committed to making everyone feel valued, safe and secure within our home from home environment. The owners, management and staff have many years experience in early education, active learning and child development. They are all very friendly and committed and constantly strive for happy children and happy parents. Parents/carers regularly comment on our mixed age of staffing as we have grannies, aunties and mums amongst our staff team.
Our three rooms are structured to suit the needs and abilities for each stage in a child's development. Tiny Clogs is where you will find our babies learning about sensory development with many taking their first steps. Little Clogs shows the next stage in a child's development when their curiosity and communication skills start to take shape. Whilst Big Clogs is for our older children who show independence and learn life skills through play. In all of the rooms children thrive on the constant stimulation and activities on offer.
We are very lucky to have a large woodland garden on site where our children play outdoors daily. Both Little Clogs and Big Clogs have open access to outdoor areas so children can freely choose whether they would like to play inside our outside.
Not only do we offer fun filled experiences within our nursery, we regularly visit the local community and go out and about to the local care home, library, park and shops. You may also see us jumping on a bus or a train when we are heading on a new adventure!
